About this Course

Abby Blanchard and Shania Cabilao will guide participants through an exciting and supportive workshop designed to help dancers feel confident and prepared for auditions. The session will begin with a group warm-up, followed by learning audition-style choreography while exploring proper etiquette, strengthening technique, and developing character work. Dancers will also focus on bringing personality and intention to their movements to help them stand out. After learning the choreography, participants will break into smaller groups to simulate a real audition environment in an encouraging space, and finish with a group cool-down. This workshop is perfect for folks looking to gain audition experience, build confidence, and grow their performance skills.
